I jailbroke my ipad 4.2.1 using Redsn0w. i added the source to get installus. i restarted the ipad but now it wont turn on, it loads the apple logo, but wont go to the home screen. Any suggestions?

Okay, this happened to me as well (Like 3 times now) but I’ve found out that it’s not because of Install0us. It turns out that other smaller, tweak type apps are the ones that are causing this on the new firmware. For example, the app MobileVolumeSound (I think that’s what its called) causes this problem. Hopefully you get what I’m saying. But anyways, about to the fix! You’re 100% gonna have to restore your iPad! In order to do that, you must get it into recovery mode. Well, that’s easy! Just turn off your iPad, open iTunes on your computer and plug the USB end of the Apple connector cable into your computers USB slot. Now, hold down your iPads Home button while it’s turned off, and while holding it, plug the other end of the Apple cable into your iPad. Once its plugged it, continue holding the home button until the restore icon appears on your iPad and it’s detected by itunes in recovery mode (This should take about 10-15 seconds if that)… Now, you can restore and hopefully get all of your stuff back if you backed it up. You always gotta be careful on what you download in Cydia on 4.2.1! Hope this helped! Lemme know how this all goes if you didn’t already solve the problem!

you may need to replace the “trap” if that is where the clog is located. The trap is the “u” shaped pipe underneath your sink drain. If you can do that your self and that is the problem then you can save yourself a little money. You can also rent a “snake” from some of your local home improvement store and run it in your drain. If that doesnt work you’ll probably have to call a drain specialist or plumber. good luck
