“come getch yourself? some” Love it!!! Why are you wearing gloves?
HammondJammer, sounds like whoever replaced that sewer line wasn’t properly learned up. That is, of course, assuming that? the problem is in YOUR line and not the city’s. A clean out should have been installed at the farthest downstream point where your sewer line ties into the municipal line. If THAT clean out is holding sewage, then the problem may well belong to them and not you. Regardless, I believe you are absolutely correct that a sewer snake is the first order of business. Good luck.
You a plumber that I actually like! You’re videos are delightful for such a nasty subject! I had my sewer pipe replaced 2 years ago. The thing is backing up again. I had the installer put in 3 additional clean out things. I looked down each one to find where? it looks like semi hardened crap coming upward from the cleanout thing. I got a water hose running in two of the holes right now trying to wash the crap out toward the city sewer. I think I need a sewer snake with a brush on the end.
