Question by : Washing a paint brush in the bathtub clogged the drain. How do we unclog it?
Washing the paint brush clogged the drain. We tried paint thinner but all that did was stain our bathtub. How do we unclog it? And is it possible to remove the stain from the paint thinner?

i’ve poured bottle after bottle of draino and tried boiling hot water..

the tub drains verrryyy slowly, i think it’s due to my hair clogged in the drain

device at local stores. It looks like rubber black baloon that can connect to your hose. It force the clogs out fo the drain.

Question by mipclp: The bathtub has a lift and turn stopper. How do I remove it to unclog the drain?
No lever on the drain plug. Just lift and turn and it stays open, turn and it falls into closed position. I need to remove it to be able to clean out the clogged drain. I tried twisting, pulling, etc to no avail. I know there is a procedure for this but I need to know what it is.

A plunger usually works fine. But make sure that the tub has at least 4-5″ of water first.
