Unclogging a clogged shower drain

A bunch of videos were posted about unclogging a clogged shower drain but none of them worked for us. A majority of them said the top of the drain plunger thingie would unscrew from the base of the plunger thingie and then lift off but ours didn’t. Check out the first image. In most cases the part with the orange arrow uncrews from the base(the blue arrow) but ours was not that type. I used my dental mirror, a part from Harbor Freight and lifted the drain cap a little bit and rotated/twisted the drain cap around until I saw the Phillips head screw which sits underneath the cap and is hidden by the cap. When loosened the screw allows you to pull off the whole drain cap so the drain can be unclogged. Once off I was able to see the hair, clean everything up and get it flowing perfectly again. What a difference!! Sorry some of the photos are a little fuzzy, my camera phone doesn’t do real well with images taken so close.
